Kennel Caper for Humane Society of Hall County

Majic 1029 is pleased to be part of the Kennel Caper for the Humane Society of Hall County again this year. Our Bill Wilson will go into the “portable pound” this weekend (5/10-5/11) at Wal-Mart of Gainesville on Shallowford Road. Drop by and see Bill Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. When you do, we hope you will make a donation to help the Humane Society with their important work. The goal is $1.00 for every pet handled by the Humane Society in Hall County last year. That’s just shy of $12,000. Listen for reports from Bill Wilson throughout the weekend on Majic 1029.

Blue Sky Concerts for May

May is the month of free concerts during your Wednesday lunch hour. Stop by any of the 20 plus downtown restaurants, pick up a lunch-to-go, and head out for the show on the Gainesville square. Blue Sky Concerts are brought to you by SunTrust Banks, Magnolia Grill, and Majic 1029.

The 10th Annual Rubber Duck Derby floats your way Saturday May 17th from 11a-2p at Clarks Bridge Park in Gainesville. Proceeds benefit the great work of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hall County.
